3 Nights - 4 Days - dive into the waves of the sahara – camel trecking
Day 1
We depart from M‘Hamid in the morning with the camel. Load all luggage on camel and walking or riding the camel. So we pass beautiful palm grove and walk along the Oued Draa, The Valley of the draa river. in former time there was water and the people had palm trees and work as farmers there And we can already feel the wideness of the desert Sahara. It is getting quiet and we will see not many people there, maybe some nomads and of course the one or other tourist.
During the day we have tea ritual and enjoy the shadow of the Tamaris and have lunch there. Then we continue walking to the shrine of Sidi Naji. There we find a good place for the tent. Enjoy the sunset on the dunes and we prepare dinner for you.
Day 2
Rising up with the first light of the sun – enjoy the blue hour and having breakfast. Then we load the caravan and go on our trip depper into the Sahara.
We will have lunch in the place of Erg Ez Zahar. It is time to have a rest in the shadow. In late afternoon we walk up to the dunes, enjoy the amazing sight, enjoy the silence and the wideness of the Sahara. We stay there for the sunset. For the night there we have open fire and we cook together. So we have dinner and after we enjoy music around the fire.
Day 3
The sunrise is the start of the day and after breakfast we start our trip for today. Maybe on this day we will meet nomadic people in the way with sheeps or camels. Also able to get water at the well of the Erg.
There we also find a place to have lunch and a rest in the shadow. So we are already on the way back and find a good place to stay for our last night in the desert – maybe under an amazing clear heaven of stars.
Day 4
So let us enjoy the last sunrise in the desert and rise up for our last day and the way back to M‘Hamid. We pack the camel and walk or ride before we have lunch again outside in the desert. In the afternoon we continue and reach M‘Hamid along the Oued Draa. So you have time to look around in M‘Hamid, maybe for a coffee If you want to stay another night in M‘Hamid we can make a reservation for a hotel or a camp.
So you can enjoy a shower when you come back. The other option is to organise you the transfer to Zagora, Ouarzazate or Marrakesh We can make a reservation for transfer and hotel – tell us your wish !

Day 1

We will cross the arid plateau, a place where a mirage (fata Morgana) can appear and you will be part of the magic of Sahara. Soon we can see the beautiful scene of the golden dunes Erg Ez Zahar.
We will have lunch in the place and enough time to relaxing the shadow. For the night there we have open fire and we cook together. So we have dinner and after we enjoy music around the fire.
Day 3
The sunrise is the start of the day and after breakfast we start our trip. The trecking of today continues with the crossing of the Oued Draa to join the Erg Smar. So we can have lunch at a well and offer to water the camels. In the end of the afternoon we will reach the majestic dunes Erg Chegaga.
Erg Chegaga - the highest dunes in Morocco - an amazing series of golden desert dunes stretching for 40 km, maximum height 300 m
In late afternoon we walk up to the dunes, enjoy the amazing sight - enjoy the silence and the wideness of the Sahara. We stay there for the sunset. Here we find a good place to stay for the night – maybe under an amazing clear heaven of stars. Option: you can also book this last night in the desert in a camp with a shower – please let us know!
Day 4
So let us enjoy the last sunrise in the desert and rise up for our last day and the way back to M‘Hamid. We have breakfast together and after we pack all things to leave this magic place. The way back to M’Hamid we do by jeep. You will enjoy the way back along the Oued Draa. When we arrive you can take e time to look around in M‘Hamid, maybe for a coffee.
If you want to stay another night in M‘Hamid we can make a reservation for a hotel or a camp. So you can enjoy a shower when you come back. The other option is to organise you the transfer to Zagora, Ouarzazate or Marrakesh We can make a reservation for transfer and hotel – tell us your wish!
